National Bureau for defending land and resisting settlements ( nbprs ) stated in its latest weekly report that , now and again, Israeli settlers and their leaders as well as their supporters in the Israeli far-right parties put the West Bank on the crater of a volcano as they celebrate their Jewish holidays, starting with the Jewish New Year, ending with the Throne holiday. They marched along the West Bank protected by the occupation forces, led by the Jewish terrorist organizations which they established in the settlement outposts that they transferred into a den for the ‘Hilltop Youth’ organizations and ‘Pay the Price’, ‘Lehava’, ‘Regavim’, ‘Nahleh’ and other Zionist criminal organizations in all the governorates of the West Bank, including Jerusalem, where Hundreds of settlers organized a provocative march in the Old City, in which 1,200 settlers participated, at Bab al-Silsilah and Bab al-Qattanin.
Moreover, the occupied West Bank witnessed large-scale attacks launched by settlers under the protection of the occupation forces in several governorates, during which they burned parks and trucks n Hawarra, smashed the windows of houses and vehicles and stormed archaeological sites. They also attacked the residents on the main street and attacked the owners of shops in the center of the town, and destroyed 15 shops and 20 vehicles that were parked on both sides of the main street. They attacked a civil defense vehicle that tried to reach the place to put the fire off, smashing its windows, and spraying gas on its members. They also attacked 6 houses and smashed their windows. The settlers’ attacks included 2 hits to the head that were taken to Rafidia Hospital, 2 with metal bullets, 2 with burns, 1 fall, and 45 cases of gas and pepper suffocation.
On the one hand, Jewish terrorist organizations in the settlements and outposts, escalated their attacks on farmers and their properties with the beginning of the olive harvest season. They cut down trees and stole the olive harvest on the lands of the villages of Qusra and Qaryut and the lands of Awarta, Nablus Governorate. And in the village of Azmout, east of Nablus, settlers of ‘Alon Moreh’ built on lands of the village attacked citizens while they were picking olives, and settlers attacked a number of farmers in the lands of Awarta village, south of Nablus, while they were picking olives, under the protection of the Israeli occupation army, which fired poison gas bombs towards the farmers, trying to drive them out of the area.
These lands are adjacent to the road that has been closed since the year 2000 and connects between Awarta and Aqraba, and the occupation forces prevent farmers from approaching them, except on specific days, especially during the olive harvest season, the occupation army participated in the robberies and beat the Jerusalemites in solidarity with the residents of Wadi al-Rababa neighborhood in Silwan town in the occupied city of Jerusalem, who participated in a solidarity campaign to pick olives.
Moreover. the occupation soldiers had picked the olives and stole them under aa call by the Nature Authority of the Occupation Municipality from the lands of Wadi Al-Rababa neighborhood. In Hebron, settlers destroyed olive trees under the protection of the Israeli occupation army in the area adjacent to the “Kiryat Arba” settlement. In Salfit governorate, the Israeli occupation forces prevented farmers from entering their lands in the “Al-Wajh Al-Shami” area close to the “Rafafa” settlement, which is built on Palestinian lands. In of Hares, west of Salfit, and they forcibly evicted them from the place. Settlers also attacked citizens while they were picking olives in Khallet Hassan, west of Bidya town, west of Salfeet governorate, which led to the injury of a citizen who was admitted to the hospital.
Within the context of forging history and the ongoing Judaizing operations in Jerusalem, Ze’ev Elkin, Minister of Construction and Housing, Yoel Rezbozov, Minister of Tourism, and Moshe Leon, Mayor of the so-called Jerusalem Municipality, laid the foundation stone for the construction of a bridge over Jerusalem. It is the longest in ‘Israel’, with a length of about 200 meters. It passes over Wadi Hilweh in Silwan. It connects the town of Al-Thawri, Mount Zion and the Old City. It is expected to be open in May 2023.
The project was initiated by the Ministry of Jerusalem and the Jewish Heritage, the Ministry of Tourism, the Jerusalem Municipality and the so-called Jerusalem Development Authority, its implementation is supervised by the Moria company with a cost estimated at about NIS 20 million, of which NIS 7.5 million from the Ministry of Jerusalem and the so-called Jewish heritage, NIS 7.5 million from the budget of the Ministry of Tourism and NIS 5 million from the budget of the Jerusalem municipality.
According to the plans, the pedestrian bridge will be able to go to these neighborhoods and to other areas. The construction of the bridge includes infrastructure development works on its two sides, including roads, awnings, gardening, irrigation and lighting along its sides.

Jerusalem:
- Forcing a Jerusalemite family to demolish their own house in the Wadi al-Joz area under the pretext of not having a building license, otherwise they will be paying heavy fines if the Isrseli occupation does so/.
- Opening fire on citizens in the Wadi Qaddoum area of the Silwan town, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
- Surveying the home of the Uday Al-Tamimi family from Dahiyat Al-Salam near the Shuafat camp near occupied Jerusalem.
- Burning large areas of the lands of the Qatana village, northwest of occupied Jerusalem.
- Forcing Ibrahim Hamed to demolish his own house in Sur Baher, southeast of occupied Jerusalem.
Hebron:
- Demolishing 4 houses in the Wadi Jehish, southeast of the Susiya village.
- Bulldozing an agricultural land in the Birin area, northeast of Yatta, south of Hebron, in favor of constructing a 700-meter-long settlement road.
- Aggravating the military measures in the Old City in the vicinity of the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of Hebron, and erecting military checkpoints leading to the neighborhoods of the Old city.
- Preventing the Palestinian citizens from passing through the main streets leading to the neighborhoods of: Wadi al-Nasara, Wadi al-Hussein, and Jaber neighborhood, closed the city center in Bab al-Zawiya and “Beersheba Street” as well.
- Storming the roofs of some houses and commercial complexes, and forcing the shops owners to close them, evacuated the area to provide protection for groups of extremist Israeli settlers to storm the archaeological site.
- Setting up tents in the Khirbet “Ain Fara”, west of Hebron, near the settlement of “Adora”, which is built on Palestinian lands, and performing “Talmudic prayers” there under the pretext of Jewish holidays.
Bethlehem:
- Hurling stones at the Palestinian citizens vehicles in the area of Khirbet al-Deir in the town of Tekoa, southeast of Bethlehem, and near the main entrance to “Teqa'” settlement, which led to the damage of a number of them.
- Closing the Iron Gate at the northern entrance to the town, and storming the Khirbet al-Deir area in order to provide protection for the Israeli settlers during a march they organized in the area.
- Storming the Solomon pools tourist area in Bethlehem, and performing Talmudic rituals in the place.
Ramallah:
- Attacking the homes of citizens in the village of Ras Karkar and attacking the vehicles of citizens, near the villages of Al-Nabi Saleh and Deir Nidham, northwest of the governorate.
- Attacking the citizens’ vehicles near the Beit El checkpoint and in the Ein Ayoub area which causes the damage of a number of them.
- Attacking 4 houses with stones in the town of Sinjel, north of Ramallah, and smashing their windows, terrifying the citizens, especially children and women.
- Attacking citizens’ vehicles, on the Ein Ayoub junction near the village of Ras Karkar, northwest of Ramallah, and throwing stones at vehicles, causing damage to a number of them.
- Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed the outskirts of the Tira neighborhood in Ramallah to perform Talmudic rituals.
Nablus:
- Closing the historic Al-Masoudia area of the lands of Burqa northwest of Nablus, imposed a siege against 14 families residing in the area, and prevented them from entering or leaving it, set up tents and mobile homes in the area in preparation for the celebrations on the occasion of the Jewish holidays.
- The injury of a young man with a stone in the head as a result of attacking his vehicle near the village of al-Lubban al-Sharqiya, south of Nablus.
- Injuring a citizen from the town of Jama’in in the head after a settler attack targeting his vehicle near the town of Hawara.
- The injury of a young man by live ammunition after settlers stormed the Yusuf shrine.
- Torching Palestinian facilities, vehicles and property in the village of Qusra, south of the city of Nablus, in the northern West Bank, which led to a fire on 3 poultry farms in the village, and led to the death of 30,000 chickens.
Jordan Valley:
- Attacking the tents of citizens near the entrance to the village of Ain al-Bayda in the Tubas and the northern Jordan Valley, damaged the agricultural greenhouses.
- Storming the Khirbet al-Farisiya and gathering near the tents of the citizens and threatening the workers and farmers in the area.
- Storming the Khirbet Al-Deir and destroying solar cells and water pumps.
- Notifying to uproot dozens of olive trees in the “Umm Kubaish” area, east of the town of Tammun, south of Tuba, planted 13 years ago.
- Destroying agricultural crops in the village of Bardala in the northern Jordan Valley as large quantities of the cucumber crop were destroyed, on an area of two dunums, planted in greenhouses on line 90.
