The national Bureau for defending land and resisting settlements ( nbprs ) stated in its latest weekly report that the Government of Settlers intends to legalize the settlements under the title ‘Settlement reform’ built on the lands of the Beta, Yatma and Qabalan towns to the south of Nablus, including the ‘Avitar settlement’ and many others in the so-called Judia & Samaria i.e. the West Bank, which also means allowing the return of settlers to the Homesh outpost and other outposts, as well as building about 18,000 new settlement units.
Within the context of the policy of demolition and ethnic cleansing, the occupation court also decided to demolish the Al-Rishq family’ house in the Silwan town, after 16 years of deliberation at the courts, the threat of eviction and demolition threatens the entire Al-Bustan Neighborhood in Silwan, to establish a garden on the ruins of the houses, after rejecting all the structural plans that were submitted to license the neighborhood.
The danger of eviction threatens about 300 Palestinian homes, whether in the Batn Hawa Neighborhood in Silwan or in the Sheikh Jarrah Neighborhood, in addition to the occupation government’s facilities for land registration for settlers in the western section there, claiming that they owned lands in the area before 1948.
In an attempt to fabricate history and steal heritage, and in a blatantly provocative position, the Minister of Security at the Occupation Government, Yoav Gallant, has announced a new policy against the Palestinians, who attack Jewish archaeological sites in the occupied West Bank, as he claimed. The announcement came in line with the demands of settlement associations to prevent construction and urban development in Nablus area, specifically on Mount Ebal – the northern mountain – with the claim that a Jewish historical site is located on the slopes of this mountain, which is the ‘altar of Joshua bin Nun.’
Settlement associations claim that the site was vandalized, and that residents of Asira al-Shamaliya village stole ancient stones from a stone wall around the site and used them to pave a road to the town. The ‘War on Every Dunum’, the association also claimed that the Palestinian Authority intends to build a new neighborhood of dozens of housing units on that mountain.
According to a shameless sent by the minister to Knesset member of the Religious Zionist Party, Limor Son Har Melch, the Israeli security establishment will not allow any vandalism of archaeological sites in the West Bank, and every archaeological site is contrary to the Oslo Accords and international law and that the Civil Administration has informed the Palestinian Authority that it will not allow even touching what he called the ‘altar,’
Adding that he had instructed the army leadership in the West Bank to conduct extensive tours of the site and prevent any activity there. Besides, the Israeli Ministry of Security intends to hold a special conference for what the occupation authorities call “national archaeological parks” in the West Bank, which are sites under the control of the Palestinian Authority, but settlement movements and settler associations continue to storm these sites, claiming that they are Jewish, while demanding that the occupying power enable the establishment of Jewish settlement outposts in these sites, as a prelude to controlling them.
At a time when the occupying state robs the money of the Palestinian people by stealing the clearance with American blessing, a joint Israeli-American journalist investigation revealed that an Israeli association collects funds through extremist American organizations to support a group of perpetrators of murders against the Palestinians.
According to a joint investigation by the Israeli ‘Shomrim’ website, and the American Associated Press, the association’s official is considered the right hand of the extremist Israeli Minister of National Security, Ben Gvir, as the donations come through extremist American organizations, a fundraising campaign for terrorists, including the killers of the Dawabsha family in addition to fundraising for the killer of former Israeli Prime Minister, Rabin.
This organization collects donations in the United States under the slogan ‘We are all with the prisoners of Zion.’ The association was registered by a lawyer, who is considered the right hand of Ben Gvir, and he is the person who managed the coalition negotiations for him.
